MONDAY: HATHA FLOW YOGA
This is an all-levels class: friendly to beginners while providing some prompts for more challenging options for the more experienced. Starting with breath-based meditation, the class will be a mixture of standing poses for strength and balance and floor-based movement for stretching and relaxation. Throughout, we will focus on our breath and building awareness of the connections between mind, body, and spirit.
This group will start with few minutes of Meditation, Pranayama and physical Asana practice. The group is beginner friendly with milder poses or for advanced practitioners with Inversions like head stand, arm balances etc., depending on the students, such that everyone feels included.
THURSDAY: GENTLE YOGA
This group provides the opportunity to practice being gentle to yourself. It includes movements that promote circulation, sensation of breath, and stillness of the mind. Members take time in class to feel and sense the movements of their body. Breath and movement keep our organs healthy and our joints lubricated. Gentle yoga practice helps to cultivate a calm nervous system. We are made of energy, and gentle yoga asks us listen to our own words and slow our pace. In gentle yoga the atmosphere is free from competition and comparison.
THURSDAY: STRENGTH TRAINING
This 30-minute express class is geared towards the lower body and core with a series of intervals using dumbbells, body bars, exercise balls, bosu balls, and resistance bands. It is designed to help with strengthening muscles and building endurance. Balancing exercises tone the tiny stabilization muscles used during posture to help combat daily soreness. Each exercise can be modified to accommodate all fitness levels and injuries. Let this class energize you throughout your day!
